How Disagree Learning receives, stores, reviews, and protects information submitted through this website.

Effective July 31, 2026Applies to website submissions, document uploads, help requests, and support selections
01

Information collected

Disagree Learning may collect the contact information, school district or organization, role, issue description, service request, support selection, and documents a visitor voluntarily submits. Standard technical information needed to operate and secure the website may also be processed by the hosting provider.

02

Private submission archive

Form submissions are stored in a private database. Uploaded documents are stored separately in private object storage. The public website does not provide open access to either system. Mike Pope receives an email alert when a submission arrives.

03

How information is used

Submitted information may be used to review a concern, respond to a request, provide guidance, evaluate a potential engagement, research public records, verify information, contact relevant people or organizations, or determine whether public-interest work is appropriate.

04

Confidentiality requests

A request to keep an identity confidential will be taken seriously in any public use. Confidentiality cannot be promised against a valid legal obligation, an immediate safety concern, information the submitter independently makes public, or circumstances the submitter later authorizes. Disagree Learning will minimize unnecessary identifying information whenever practical.

05

Public use and verification

Submitting information does not mean it will be published. When information contributes to an investigation, essay, report, or article, the resulting work is published through Pope Studios and governed by the editorial standards linked on this site. Claims are verified whenever possible, sensitive information is minimized, and relevant organizations may be contacted for comment.

06

Payments

Payment-card and bank information is entered only on Stripe-hosted pages and is not collected or stored by Disagree Learning. The website may retain the contributor’s contact information, selected amount, selected frequency, and checkout status for operational records.

07

Retention and deletion

Records may be retained while they remain relevant to a request, research, reporting, organizational accountability, or legal and operational needs. A person may request correction or deletion of information they submitted. A request may be limited when retention is necessary to protect evidence, document prior communications, comply with law, or resolve a dispute.

08

Important limits

Do not submit Social Security numbers, full birth dates, financial account numbers, passwords, payment information, or unrelated medical information. Submission does not create an attorney-client relationship, professional privilege, service agreement, or guarantee of assistance or publication.

Ask about your information.

Include the email address used for the submission, the approximate date, and the correction or deletion you are requesting.
